Returns Happen

Return Policy for products other than motors, Within 30 Days

      ​Mcaps Automation and Power can accept, for exchange or return, items which were purchased direct from us within the last ​30 days and are in new resalable condition. This excludes non-standard and custom products. 


Products ordered online will have a restocking fee of 20%.

            For all other orders our returns department will advise if, and what, the restocking fee is at the time of the return. Restocking            fees may vary based on the manufacturers return policy. An RMA (Returned Material Authorization) number must be obtained from        our returns department. Please click the 'request return' button or email  sales@mcaps-inc.com. Please follow RMA instructions when      returning.


Return Policy, After 30 Days

              ​Items returned after 30 days will be subject to a restocking fee and may be non-returnable. The standard restocking charge      ​for goods returned beyond 30 days is generally 35% of the sale price.

            Non-standard products, that are accepted by the manufacturer for return, will be charged based on the Manufacturer’s                    ​restocking fee to Mcaps Automation and Power and will be advised at the time the RMA is given. Restocking charges can be                    handled on a case-by-case basis.


Cancellation Policy

​If you need to cancel your order and it has already been processed, shipped, assembled or received in our warehouse there ​may be a restocking fee. Every effort will be made to cancel your order, however, order cancellation is subject to our manufacturer's ​cancellation policy.

  ​If the product has been specially ordered, is a non-stock item or is being built to customer specifications it may be non- ​cancelable or subject to a minimum restocking fee of 50%.


Non-Standard and Custom Products

​Non-standard and custom products are non-cancelable and non-returnable. Non- standard or custom products are defined as ​products that are special order, custom orders, orders built to customers specifications, assembled or modified products, products ​not stocked by Mcaps Automation and Power or orders for value-added products.


Warranty Returns

​Mcaps Automation and Power sells new products and honors all manufacturers’ warranties. Warranties do vary by ​​ ​manufacturer. Products returned must be new, unused and in their original undamaged boxes with original packing material and ​product literature. All returns will be inspected upon arrival at our warehouse.

 

All Returns

​Products that are returned without an appropriate RMA number will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the ​sender’s expense. WEG  Service and Warranty

Mcaps Automation and Power  - WEG Motor warranty as stated below.

Warranty for Frames 56 – 215

Mcaps Automation and Power honors the WEG Limited, No-Fault Warranty for motors having frame 215T and smaller. This warranty applies only one time per customer per original purchase.

For WEG Frame 56 motors, Mcaps Automation and Power offers a 1.5 -year Limited, No-fault warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. For WEG Frame 143 to 215 motors, Mcaps Automation and Power offers a 3-year Limited, No-fault warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Mcaps Automation and Power will refund the purchase price or replace any defective motor in the above range. To make a warranty claim please remove the nameplate sticker, provide the failure reason, and follow the Warranty Returns Procedures outlined above. Please note that you will be required only to return the nameplate sticker in order to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Warranty for Frames 254 and higher

For WEG Frame 254 and higher motors, this information applies to those products. WEG may provide a limited warranty on its motor products; see catalog technical pages for stated warranty periods.
